This is a bootable DVD/USB my friends created himself to aid in his computer repair business.

- HUGE number of DOS utilities to do nearly anything
VistaPE + Recovery Environment
- With a full compliment of recovery & security tools + Vista Recovery Environment
XP Professional + Recovery Console
- SP3 fully activated. Great for repair or fresh installs.
SAW Linux
- My own Slax based LiveCD with updatable AV, NTFS write support, and a few useful scripts
Acronis Rescue Disk
- Various Acronis disk utilities
NTLDR Repair
- tool to boot into systems with "Missing NTLDR"
Memtest86
- of course!
GOBACK Removal Tool
- Removal tool for Symantec GOBACK
WINAPPS
- WINAPPS folder on the CD contains many useful utilities and installers for use inside Windows

Bugfixes and features in v0.4.0
* USB Support! Full HOWTO included in the download. USB functionality has had minimal testing, since neither VMware nor my motherboard support booting from flash. (Now confirmed working)
* Removed BartPE (which wasn't playing nice with SAW) and Vista install, replaced with VistaPE which provides both a PE and the Vista Recovery Environment. May add Vista install back if I can find a stripped down version.

KNOWN BUGS:
** Avira AV in VistaPE is not updatable, but runs. Service needs to be started on boot.
** There is a script for writing a Windows MBR in SAW, but the executable is missing. However, the functionality is reproduced in the Windows Recovery Console.
** The registry restore script in SAW never detects Windows due to a typo. Registry restore can still be accomplished manually in VistaPE or SAW.
** SAW does not automount NTFS partitions, they can be mounted from the command line with the force switch.
** Not a bug, but some pre-installed usb apps, like U3 on SanDisk, prevent the USB HOWTO from working. Most of these types of software have removal tools available from the manufacturer's website.
